In keeping with the requirements of SIL level 2 and 3, as described in the IEC 61508 standard, ST's latest single high-side drivers IPS160HF and IPS161HF are designed to ensure functional safety in industrial systems.

They enhance application reliability thanks to very high supply voltage ratings up to 65V and extended diagnostic capabilities. IPS160HF can deliver output currents up to 2.5A, and the IPS161HF is rated up to 0.7A.
