New governance for SPS Italia – the industry automation and digitalisation fair

Fair management handed over to Greta Moretto, Marketing, Communication & Domestic Events Director, and Daniele Lopizzo, Show Director SPS Italia
Today, SPS Italia opened its doors along with more than 800 exhibitors in an enthusiastic return to live events to finally welcome the whole community of participants to the fair. Along with this return, an important announcement was made regarding the new organisational team.
As of the next edition, the event, which has always been coordinated by Francesca Selva, Vice President Marketing & Events of Messe Frankfurt Italia, will be placed in the four hands of its new management team. This formula has already been put to the test by Messe Frankfurt, and structures management in such a way that it can guide and coordinate all of the activities that will accompany following editions.
The project’s continued success will be ensured by Greta Moretto, Marketing, Communication & Domestic Events Director, and Show Director, Daniele Lopizzo.
Greta Moretto will be responsible for overseeing strategy and developing marketing and communication plans, while Daniele Lopizzo will be entrusted with sales, organising the fair, and coordinating services for exhibitors.
“I am so happy to inherit this successful project, after having seen it come to life and having been actively involved over all of these years in the creation of a network, which has become an anchor for the industry community”, says Greta Moretto. “Following this changeover, the aim will be to bring continuity to SPS Italia’s event and industry initiatives, and to continue working with our partners and companies that, along with our own efforts, have made SPS the point of reference for industry in Italy”. Daniele Lopizzo adds, “I am very thankful for this opportunity, and I will do my utmost to guarantee exhibiting companies the customary collaboration, support, and understanding that have allowed us to achieve results and success together. Lastly, I would also like to say, on behalf of both of us, thank you to Francesca for having shared in this experience as a team”.
This handing over of the baton within the team takes place as Francesca Selva’s career comes to a close, after 13 years of professional achievements during her time with the Italian subsidiary of the Frankfurt fair and organiser of SPS Italia.
Francesca Selva concluded by saying, “year after year, my experience at SPS Italia never stopped surprising me, because of all of the people that I met, the shared projects, and everything that I learnt, not only in terms of 4.0. Thank you to Messe Frankfurt for the trust that they placed in me, and I hope that Greta and Daniele’s passion stays strong for this wonderful work.”
