Cantoni Group has a vast experience in the production of explosion-proof motors and explosion-proof brakes.

We offer a wide range of Expolosion Proof motors:

1) increased safety motors - from 0,06 kW up to 22 kW - adapted for operation in areas endangered by explosion (without methane);

2) flame-proof motors:
- for chemical industry
- for mining industry
from 0,37 kW up to 3200 kW - for applications in chemical and mining industry where explosive atmospehere of gases, vapours or dust can occur;

3) non-sparking IEC motors and Class I Div 2 NEMA motors

4) dust ingnition proof IEC motors and Class II Div 2 NEMA motors


We also offer Explosion Proof brakes, like e.g.:

1) HEX DC electromagnetic brakes, which provide protection:
• against methane and coal dust explosion for the I group of devices, category M2 (I M2 Ex db [ia] I Mb)
• against explosion of gases for the II group of devices, category 2G (I 2G Ex db [ia] IIB T4 Gb)
• against dust explosion for the II group of devices, category 2D (II 2D Ex tb [ia] IIIC T125°C Db)

2) NEX electromagnetic brakes for Zone 2, Zone 21, which provide protection:
